Our Story

He is from a family of coffee traders, she is an artist. Their marriage gave birth to Heva Coffee Co. Theirs is a love story that stuff of every successful partnership is made of.

He grew up in the 80's playing around sacks upon sacks of quality coffee beans from the farms of Batangas and got his first lessons in managing the business from his parents. Fresh from college in 2002 and on his own, he toyed with the idea of a coffee branding business and his business was eventually absorbed by his parent's company.

In 2008, it was the next generation's turn to carry on the family tradition of providing Batangueños quality coffee and the reins of management was given to him and his siblings. This is where his acumen in coffee trading was further sharpened, expanding his clientele with restaurants and hotels in Metro Manila.

Still, something was missing,

An artist by heart, she is able to put magic in the mundane, She is very much into graphic design and marketing. It was her idea to kick their coffee business up a notch and sell online.

He finds and roasts the best coffee in Batangas, she makes sure their coffee is packaged in style and lovingly make its way to your doorsteps.

The coffee trader and the artist, like coffee and cream, is a perfect match made in coffee heaven.

The Founders

The Coffee Trader

The coffee trader and a proud Thomasian, Herbert is a natural entrepreneur who started helping in the family business at a very young age. His positive outlook in life and his ability to get along with people combined with his strong business acumen makes him a great business partner.

The Artist

The artist and another proud Thomasian. Vanessa or "Bunny" to her friends has a wide experience in marketing and her expertise in the field was honed through years of work in the corporate industry. Her creativity, drive and passion enables her to turn even the simplest things into works of art.

With a combined experience of over 15 years in coffee distribution, office management, marketing and sales management; the company owners of Heva Coffee Co. have combined their resources and extensive experience to create a quality product accompanied with a successful distribution strategy. 

SOURCING

In order to provide premium quality coffee, we make sure to get only the best coffee beans available. Part of our protocol is to check for the bean quality prior to acceptance so we can retain our coffee’s quality and standard. Our coffee beans are directly sourced from local farmers and traders, which we consider our partners in the business.

ROASTING

Roasting coffee in small batches at a time produces better tasting coffee and a variety of flavours. At Heva Coffee Co., we do our own roasting to ensure and maintain the consistency of our coffee’s taste and aroma. By roasting in small batches you can rest fully assured that our coffee products are freshly roasted when delivered to you.
